#2Pos: DSHt Keon Broxton Jersey : 6002Wt: 210Hand: 0938Arm: 3118Wing: 7478DOB: 7/26/98Eligibility: 2022Pennsauken, NJSuffield Academy High SchoolBrad Hawkins will be a special teams contributor at the next level and lacks the athleticism to be a starting safety.Brad Hawkins displays a nice physical profile with his height and weight. Fits the mold with his physical build having a firm athletic build. He displays good key and diagnoses of run concept playing in the box, as an overhang and filling the alley from two high. Most comfortable playing two high, showing a good understanding of route concepts and leverages routes well. He maintains good positioning and can make plays on smash concepts from two high. Shows good pre and post-snap communication and is a leader in Michigans secondary. Disciplined vs the run and pa s not biting on double moves and misdirections. He can match up versus solid TEs and uses hands and physicality to maintain his position of Jose Bautista Jersey power. Overall he is a solid and willing tackler showing good tackling form. He will make a special teams impact.Hawkins is a limited athlete showing marginal range and adequate hip fluidity. Lacks the range to play single high and seems le s comfortable reading routes from single high. He wont be able to play man versus WRs and more athletic TEs. Lacks the closing speed to make consistent plays coming downhill in the run game from deep. He is not a playmaker and lacks the ball skills to make plays on the ball. He also doesnt have much production on the ball.Brad Hawkins projects to be a bottom of the roster player that will need to be a big time special teams player to make the roster. He wins with his mental proce sing, run discipline, and leadership in the secondary. His limited range and stiffne s in his hips will cause him trouble at the next level. He is a good special teams player.Born on July 26th, 1998, Brad Hawkins attended Camden High School in New Jersey as a dual-sport Robert Gsellman Jersey athlete in basketball and football. He played on both sides of the ball as a receiver and defensive back. Hawkins was mainly recruited as a receiver out of high school and later transitioned to defensive back in college. He was rated a three-star receiver in the 2017 cla s. Hawkins expected to graduate in 2016 and head to Michigan, where he had committed to in 2015. Due to an i sue regarding his transcripts being pa sed along to Wilmer Flores Jersey the NCAA, he was forced to make the difficult decision to delay his enrollment for a year. Hawkins enrolled in a prep school, Suffield Academy, for the 2016 season to continue his football career while the NCAA sorted out his eligibility. In 2017, he was finally able to come on campus for Michigan and begin his career as a Wolverine. Hawkins was limited to special teams as a freshman but contributed on defense as a sophomore, racking up 23 tackles. Over the next three seasons playing free safety, he accumulated 153 total tackles, two forced fumbles, and seven pa ses defended.
