Korea's women's tennis team aims for the Billie Jean King Cup PO.

The South Korean women's tennis team will look to qualify for the main draw of the Billie Jean King Cup.

South Korea will play Brazil in the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup playoffs at the Arena BRB clay court in Brasilia, Brazil, from Oct. 10.

Led by head coach Kim Jung-bae (Incheon City Hall) and coach Kim Hyun-seung (Uijeongbu City Hall), the team is composed of Kim Da-bin (657th - Gangwon Provincial Office), Park So-hyun (295th), Koo Yeon-woo (505th - Seongnam City Hall), Baek Da-yeon (487th), and Lee Jung-young (900th - NH Bank).

The Billie Jean King Cup is a national competition for women's tennis, often referred to as the "Tennis World Cup.

The tournament consists of the main draw, the round of 16, the playoffs to determine the teams that will advance to the main draw, and group qualifiers for each region.

A total of 16 countries will compete in the playoffs, including those who lost in the main draw in April and those who passed the first round of regional group qualifiers.

If South Korea wins the playoffs, it will compete in next year's competition from the main round. If they lose, they will drop back to Group 1.

South Korea qualified for the Asia-Oceania Region Group 1 playoffs for the first time in 25 years in April.

The matches will be best-of-five (four singles and one doubles) with a three-set tiebreaker. Two singles matches will be played on the first day, followed by two singles and doubles on the second day.

The Brazilian team is led by Women's Tennis Association (WTA) No. 11 Beatriz Adad Maia and includes Laura Pigosi (No. 134), Carolina Aubes (No. 297), Luisa Stephani (unranked) and Ingrid Gamara Martins (No. 1,262).

"It's true that we will be pushed hard and it's on an unfamiliar clay court, but we will try to win through Park So-hyun and Koo Yeon-woo, who have a lot of clay court experience," Kim said.

Baek Da-yeon, who won the women's singles title at the Korea Tennis Championships prior to her departure, said, "Last time I played for the national team for the first time in the regional qualifiers and earned a ticket to the playoffs, so I hope to do well here and make it (to the final)." 카지노사이트존
