They lost consecutive games at home and won on the road. The Houston Astros of the Major League Baseball (MLB) won a thrilling upset victory against the Texas Rangers in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS, four wins out of seven).

Houston won 5-4 in a texaside showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on Monday. The victory gave Houston an edge over Texas with three wins and two losses in the series.

Houston lost both the first and second games to Texas, but won three consecutive games in Game 3 or 5 on the road. This leaves him with only one win left to advance to the World Series.

Then Texas turned the game around in the bottom of the sixth inning. Aroldis Garcia hit a three-run home run to turn the game around 4-2.

But the game didn't end like this. In the top of the ninth inning, he took advantage of the opportunity with no outs and runners on first and second bases. Jose Altuve, who came out to bat, drew an arch against Texas closer Jose LeCluck.

Altuve turned the bat on the second pitch thrown by Leclock, and the ball became a three-run home run over the left fence. Houston made a 5-4 comeback to Texas.

Garcia was benched due to a walk, and Houston's third pitcher Brian Aboureille and Houston manager Dusty Baker were sent off in the process. Game 6 of the two teams will be held at Minute Maid Park, Houston's home stadium, on the 23rd.
