Noh Si-hwan (23, Hanwha Eagles), who won two KBO League batting titles (RBI and home run), shared his thoughts on the award.

Noh Si-hwan won the RBI Award and Home Run Award at the '2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Awards Ceremony' held at the Westin Chosun Seoul Grand Ballroom on the 27th.

Noh Si-hwan, whose skills were in full bloom this year, played in 131 regular season games and had a career-high season with a batting average of 0.298, 31 home runs, 101 RBI, and OPS (on-base percentage + slugging percentage) of 0.929.

In the home run category, he took first place, beating SSG Landers' leader Choi Jeong (29) by two, and in the RBI category, he beat Socrates Brito (96 RBI), who ranked second, and received the award.

He achieved 30 home runs and 100 RBIs, which are considered the conditions for a slugger, and showed off his power as the national team's No. 4 hitter in international competitions where he played under the Taegeuk logo.

Noh Si-hwan said, “I am grateful to the teachers at elementary, middle, and high school who helped me come to this place. He was able to get to this point because he played with his teammates. He received the award because he provided so much help to Hanwha officials, coach Choi Won-ho, and the power analysis team. “I would like to express my gratitude and love to my parents who worked hard to raise me,” he said. “I would also like to thank the Hanwha fans who gave me so much love.”

Regarding competing with Choi Jeong for the home run title until the end of the season, he said, “I was nervous because Choi Jeong was so scary. Still, he was so focused on the Hangzhou Asian Games he was participating in that he couldn't afford to worry about the competition for the home run title. “I was able to receive this great award because I competed with senior Choi Jeong,” he said.

Lastly, Noh Si-hwan said, “We achieved good results this year, but next season is more important. “I will try my best to win the award again next year with better results than this year,” he said. 슬롯사이트
