NC Peddie is giving his acceptance speech after winning the ERA Award, Strikeouts Award, and Victory Award at the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Awards Ceremony held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 27th. 

Eric Peddy (NC Dinos), who won the triple crown in the pitching category, gave credit to his teammates.

Peddie won the ERA, strikeouts, and victory awards at the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Awards ceremony held at the Westin Chosun Seoul Grand Ballroom on the 27th.

Peddie started a total of 30 games in the 2023 season and recorded 20 wins, 6 losses, 209 strikeouts, and an ERA of 2.00. He achieved the pitcher triple crown by beating his competitors at an overwhelming pace in terms of multiple wins, earned run average, and strikeouts.

The triple crown in the pitcher category is a record achieved by only four people, including Seon Dong-yeol (1986, 1989-1991), Ryu Hyun-jin (2006), Yoon Seok-min (2011), and Peddie.

In general, even if foreign players become title holders, they did not participate in the KBO awards ceremony held after the season. However, in an unusual move, Fedi returned to Korea and attended the awards ceremony.

Fedi, who stood on the podium, said, “I was able to receive so many awards because I played for a team called NC. He expressed his thoughts about receiving the award, saying, “During the season, my teammates did very well on both offense and defense,” and “The catchers also caught my balls well, so I was able to pitch many innings.”
