The Pittsburgh Poker Open is back this November at Rivers Casino. Local players will have a chance to win against some of the top talent across the national poker circuit. Tournament play launches 9 November with several weeks of competition leading up to the main event on 19 and 20 November. The Final Table – a nationally televised cable and web series on the CBS Sports Network – will record the final table at Pittsburgh's premier poker event on Monday, 21 November.

The first-place prize of the main event is expected to exceed $150,000. Satellite tournaments will take place in the Rivers Casino poker room throughout the month as a prelude to the main event.

Broadcast nationally on the CBS Sports Network, "Poker Night in America" returns to Rivers Casino 19–20 November. The series brings together the game's most recognizable faces for high-stakes cash games.

"Poker Night in America" has filmed episodes at casinos across the country, and this is the show's fourth stop in Pittsburgh. Poker Night spotlights the game and its players, often introducing audiences to surprising insights about some of their beloved poker personalities.

Open to spectators, each day will feature two sessions of play from 12–4 p.m. and 5–9 p.m.

Poker celebrities expected to attend include:
Todd Brunson: Known as the "Darkhorse," Brunson was recently inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame, is a World Series of Poker bracelet winner and the son of famous poker player Doyle Brunson.
Shaun Deeb: Now with two gold bracelets, Deeb is one of the top young talents playing today.
Eli Elezra: Elezra is a main-stay on the poker circuit and won his first gold bracelet in 2007.
Jack Schanbacher: Hometown hero Schanbacher has cashed in 11 World Series of Poker events and 43 total events worldwide.
Dan Wolf: A Pennsylvania native and fresh face on the poker scene, Wolf played his first World Series of Poker events this year, cashing out in two tournaments.
Brandon Cantu: Cantu has more than 100 career cashes and 11 titles as a professional player.
Matt Brady: Brady hales from the Philadelphia region and has more than $2.7 million in poker earnings.
Kyle Bowker: To date, Bowker has won more than $4 million in online and in-person earnings.
