One of the well-known wildlife reserves is Tadoba National Park, which is frequently referred to as the jewel of Vidarbha and is situated in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.It is the oldest and biggest national park in Maharashtra. The reserve was established in 1955 and consists of the Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Tadoba National Park is one of India's best-protected tiger sanctuaries, covering an area of around 625.4 sq km.
