To configure your Wavlink extender as an access point, you need to make a wired connection. Attach the extender and your existing router using an ethernet wire and access the web setup portal now. Either use the Wavlink web or IP address to access the Wavlink extender setup portal. But, make sure you use the device that is connected to your Wavlink network. Use another address if you face any difficulty while using the first one. Then, log into your extender using the default username and password. From the next page, choose the network and click on the setup mode options as well. There will be mainly 4 modes: repeater, router, access point, and WISP. Choose the AP mode and configure the extender in this way. However, don’t forget to click on the Save button to apply the settings that you made here.
