There are two methods available to access the Linksys extender advanced settings to make some changes there for better performance. Both processes will give access to the extender’s wireless advanced settings with similar options. The first method is by using the web browser and searching for any of the addresses of the extender such as web and IP addresses. As you do this, the Linksys extender login portal will be reachable to you where you will see the username and password field. On the contrary, another method requires installing the Linksys WiFi app on your smartphone which must be of the latest and official version. 

After entering the login credentials and clicking on the login button, the Linksys dashboard will appear on the screen. That will contain the management window of the extender including its advanced wireless settings. There you will see the bandwidth channels, frequency bands, security encryption, and many more options. Choose the options and make changes as you desire and click on the save button finally to get those changes implemented.
