Even though EA Sports had announced their decision to shut down the Madden 23 servers prior to the blackout, those servers are still inaccessible as of today, March 9

Even though EA Sports had announced their decision to shut down the Madden 23 servers prior to the blackout, those servers are still inaccessible as of today, March 9. It was announced by the developers that the servers would be taken offline for maintenance, which is something that happens on a fairly regular basis. The servers were taken offline at 6:00 AM Eastern Standard Time for maintenance, and the matchmaking service was terminated 30 minutes earlier. The maintenance would have been finished within a couple of hours as usual, but that has not been the case recently. In addition to this, a large number of players all over the world have reported problems with their inability to access the Ultimate Team. The community of players who play Madden 23, who have not yet received the normal service to the game, has been severely impacted as a result of this. Even though some game modes are still playable, players are unable to access the MUT, which stands for Madden Ultimate Team. The players have reported feeling a great deal of annoyance as a result of this, and many of them have taken to social media to voice their concerns. The servers for Madden 23 were taken offline as planned on March 9, but they have not yet been brought back online.

It's possible that a lot of Madden 23 players didn't see the earlier tweet that the developers posted. The community was informed that a scheduled maintenance for the server would begin at three in the morning, Pacific Time (PT), or six in the morning, Eastern Time (ET). All matchmaking was terminated thirty minutes before that, and the maintenance began exactly as scheduled. However, since then, things haven't gone quite as smoothly as planned, as players are still unable to access the Ultimate Team mode. They are unable to log in to play the game mode, and their only option is to look for opponents to play against. As things currently stand, it appears that the blackout is due to routine maintenance being performed on the infrastructure. The lack of clarity regarding when the maintenance work will be completed is likely to frustrate a significant number of Madden 23 players. Something very similar happens with FIFA 23, but EA Sports typically provides information about the end dates in these kinds of situations. If one looks at the official tweet that was posted the day before, they will notice that there was no mention of when the maintenance would be over.

After the completion of the maintenance, the MUT mode will most likely be restored within a few minutes after the end of the maintenance

- There is currently no new information available because EA Sports has not yet made a new announcement regarding when things will return to their normal state

- The entire portion of the game that takes place online and is dependent on the availability of servers is currently inaccessible

- It is recommended that readers follow the Twitter handle of the person whose tweet was embedded in the article

- This will make it possible for them to be informed when the Madden 23 servers are restored, allowing them to immediately jump back in to enjoy all of the game's offerings once the servers are back online
