Four players compete in two-player teams in Euchre online, an online trick-taking game with a trump. The basic rules of this game are similar to those of Whist in that each player deals one card, and unless a trump suit card is dealt, the trick is won by the highest card of the led suit.
A team will be tasked with identifying the trump. The majority of the tricks in that hand must be won by them at that point. This differs significantly from Whist. A team can only score a maximum of ten points in one round of euchre before the game is over.
